Privacy notice for Sure Seal Roofing & Guttering, Brighton

Who we are

Sure Seal Roofing & Guttering Ltd (company number 16041443) is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. In plain terms, we decide what is collected and how it is used, and we are responsible for looking after it.

What we collect

When you use the quote form on this website we collect:

• your name, phone number, email address and postcode
• the details you give us about the job
• advert click identifiers, the codes added to a web address when you arrive by clicking one of our adverts
• cookies used to measure how our adverts perform

Why we use it

We use your contact and job details to reply to your enquiry, arrange your survey and give you a quote, and to carry out the work if you go ahead. We use advert click identifiers and measurement cookies to see which of our adverts bring in enquiries, so we spend on the ones that work.

Our lawful basis

We use your contact and job details because you asked us for a quote. That is processing needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract if you go ahead. We use advert click identifiers and measurement cookies on the basis of our legitimate interests in understanding which adverts bring in enquiries, and with your consent where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, including honouring our guarantee, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. Details from enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted once we no longer need them.

Who processes it for us

Your details are stored and processed on our behalf by our website host and our CRM provider. They handle the data only on our instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data deleted
• restrict or object to how we use it
• receive your data in a portable format
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, email us at the address below. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
